Living in Beta is my personal challenge —

I’m Lora Stevens, a “50-something” who has spent my entire career in education. For decades, I believed that a good traditional education set you up for life. But the world has changed — fast. Knowledge, skills, and opportunities now shift daily. What you learned years ago isn’t enough to thrive today.

That’s why I’ve embraced a Living in Beta mindset. 

In the tech world, a beta version is a work-in-progress - it’s functional but constantly tested, tweaked, and improved. I believe life should work the same way.

Every day, I experiment with new ideas, explore unfamiliar tools, and challenge myself to keep growing. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail - but each time, I learn.
